1960 Austin Healey 3000 Mk 1

In 2005 we acquired from it's
second owner this rare Right Hand Drive Austin Healey 3000. The car was
supplied by St.Albans Motor Company in June 1960 and extras at the
time included Overdrive,
Heater, Wire Wheels and Michelin X Tyres with a total purchase price of £1423 8 shillings and 10
pence.
The second owner purchased the vehicle in
1989 following the death of the original owner, when the car had covered 67,000 miles.
This car has not been a restoration project but it is an original UK RHD car that
has been sympathetically refurbished to its
current mint condition. It still less than 70,000 miles.
This car has matching numbers, retains most
of its original parts, and is a testament to its light usage and careful
ownership. The engine has had a top end overhaul and now runs on unleaded
fuel. We have an excellent history file with including the purchase
invoice, UDT finance document and original log book and service book.
We are now the third owner are delighted to
be in possession of such a desirable
piece of motoring history and it is highly unlikely that we will ever sell
it.
